Intersection of Art & Life on the Roof of the World invites visitors to view mirroring images of contemporary Tibet and beyond, expressed through different artistic mediums. Where artists attempt to question themes such as the impact of globalization, consumerism, post-colonialism, hybridity, gender relation, climate change, and also the growing shared concerns of their homeland with the rest of the world, on the continuing Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination situation. 

 

Consequently, while living in a transitional society, they traverse into multiple intersections through shared experiences, living cultures, practice, and religious philosophy that brings a collective understanding within their daily lives despite the boundaries. This inevitable interplay between tradition and modernity insists artists in this exhibition to explore their confusion, alienation, adjustment, and adaptation as they each push the limits of this shared roof through unbounded artistic exploration.
